الطبخ هو عملية تحضير الطعام للإستهلاك ، ويطلق المصطلح عادة على تلك الوجبات الغذائية التي يتم تحضيرها بإستخدام الحرارة ، كالنار مثلا ، ويشمل الطبخ عدّة وسائل منها السلق والقلي والشوي وغيرها ، او دمج هذه الأساليب والتنويع بينها للوصول إلى مأكولات شهية ، مفيدة ، جميلة المظهر وعظيمة الفائدة.
